Behavior Change

Most people already know roughly what they should be eating. This is about the distance between knowing and doing.

What it involves

How this works in practice

Behavior change work looks at what actually surrounds eating: timing, environment, stress, sleep, habit and routine. These are usually what decides whether an approach survives its third week.

Rather than adding willpower to something that is not working, the aim is to change the conditions around it — making the intended choice the easy one more often than not.

If you are concerned that your relationship with food may need specialist care beyond nutrition, please raise it with your doctor, who can advise on the right kind of support.

This may suit you if

  • You know what to eat but find it hard to do consistently
  • Changes work for a few weeks and then fade
  • Your eating shifts noticeably with stress or a broken routine
  • You want the habits addressed, not just the menu
